Description
As bad as you hate to see forest fires, they can make for some amazing shots. This pilot and his aircraft was helping fight a blaze right outside our home a couple months back. He made several passes and I was able to catch this shot right after he dumped his retardant.
This photo won the Plane and Pilot 2021 your flying world photo contest.
