Description
This Great Horned Owl fledgling was giving me some pretty good eye contact as it was on the ground trying to figure out how to get back up in the tree it fell out of. It was at the stage of learning to fly but got a little to brave and ended up on the ground. I watched it try for about 2 hours and then helped it get back up on a branch and as soon as it had enough energy built back up, it was able to hop from branch to branch back up with the other fledgling that was back up by their nest.

Cute as can be!!! You are so kind to help but I have been told they are supposed to learn to climb back up on their own.
