Description
The adult Burrowing Owl in the front right of this capture just brought a grasshopper back to the nest which brought out the little ones. I guess you can say he rang the dinner bell, as I was able to watch the adults bring dinner back to the burrow for about an hour after this shot. It was a great evening with these awesome little owls.
