Description
The Great Grey Owl or often called in our neck of the woods The Ghost of the Forest or The Phantom of the North, as they are hard to find. On this day I was lucky enough to see this one fly up from the forest floor as it was hunting. This beautiful owl gave me a pretty good photo session with it as it hunted the lightly snow covered meadows of Yellowstone National Park.
